On Fridays you get to smile at the Ice Pics here in The RTI Community.
Businesses, advertisers, municipalities and people in general do their best to share their written messages. Unfortunately, all too often, their message ends up receiving the opposite of what they wanted because they're using "(k)notty words" in their message.
Check it out, and participate if you like.
Keep your camera handy or bone up on how to use that camera on your cell phone; and click away!
Over the years we have seen some great examples of "(k)notty words" being used on billboards, advertisements, coupons, marquees, and signs.
Just take a picture of a sign with a "(k)notty
word" contained in the message; tell us the story behind it and where you found it; and include a picture of
yourself if you like. Email it to icepics@remembertheice.com and you will see it in the Ice Pics section of the site.
These will eventually become part of a book we are creating.
Thank you so much for your help, and please feel free to
pass this on to your friends around the world.(At the moment, we are seeking signs in English only.)
Enjoy this short video about a couple of "(k)notty word" photographs and the un-expected outcomes of behavior.
Send us your photos and the story that goes with them and they too will be added to this continually growing collection.
